Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Academic Manager with a strong background in Further Education and a qualification in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic programs, ensuring high-quality teaching, and learning experiences for all students while maintaining the standards of the institution.

Requirements and Skill

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A valid Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within Further Education.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, teaching methods, and educational regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in using student management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• A qualification in teaching or a related field.
• Experience in managing distance or online learning programs.
• Experience with accreditation processes.
